The Z1 Motorsports Aluminum Undershroud for the Infiniti Q40 was developed to replace your stock plastic or missing undershroud with a rigid aluminum panel, increasing front fascia rigidity, improving air flow, and making oil changes easier!

The stock undershroud on your Q40 was designed primarily to protect sensitive under body components from weather and small road media, unfortunately these plastic panels are not very strong and are susceptible to damage. The Z1 aluminum undershroud provides far more protection than stock by providing more rigidity and durability than soft plastic undershrouds. The boxed and skirted mid-panel further improves fascia rigidity.

The Z1 undershroud does away with the flimsy plastic clips that hold the center section to the crossmember. Instead, we elected to use rivnuts and threaded hardware to better secure your undershroud! The best part, is that you don't need to purchase a rivnut tool to install your undershroud, we've included one with the hardware at no extra cost!

Removable Service Panel

In order to service your car the undershroud must be removed. If you don't you'll likely find yourself reaching through a small rectangular hole hoping not to cover yourself and your undershroud in a thick film of oil after removing the oil filter and drain plug. This is no easy task. The Z1 Undershroud has a removable service panel, considerably larger than other similar undershrouds providing you with easy access and plenty of room to spare!

The removable service panel features large vented louvers, helping improve air flow on both sides of the panel and evacuating lousy heat.
