Product Description

We do not call these turbos rebuilt because they are not. The entire center section (CHRA), moving and wearing parts, are all purchased brand new, assembled from Garrett, the original manufacturer.  These new center sections are bolted up to thoroughly checked and cleaned used turbine and compressor housings, which are hard parts that don't wear out or degrade under regular use.

Re-using the stock turbine and compressor housings lowers the cost of this kit and using brand new CHRAs maintains 'new' reliability. Completely brand new OEM Garrett turbochargers are also available HERE.

Z1 offers your choice of .54 or .63 A/R turbine housings. This choice allows you to decide which characteristics in a turbo you prefer, Faster Spool (.54 A/R Stock Automatic) or Peak Power (.63 A/R Stock Manual). If you only daily drive your car and rarely or never plan on using Race Fuel then the .54 housing is for you. If you plan on going to the drag strip and running race fuel consistently then the .63 housing is the way to go.

Available individually or as a pair, with or without installation kit, and now the ability to add new Garrett GT Series Adjustable Wastegate Actuators, this kit is fully customizable to the needs of your vehicle. Please choose the appropriate options below.

$100 refundable core charge applies per turbo ($75 removal fee for each broken off bolt or stud in the turbine housings of returned cores and $50 each for missing or damaged wastegate actuator)- View our core return form and policy You may choose to pay the core charge or send your turbo(s) in first from the options below.
