Z1 GT525 turbos offer excellent spool-up characteristics with greater production of power and torque through the upper RPMs over stock. Will produce ~430RWHP on pump fuel and can produce ~500+RWHP on race fuel with proper tuning and other appropriate modifications. These turbos spool up quickly and are capable of more than 100 rwhp over the stock units.
Uses stock compressor and turbine housings which are precision CNC machined to house the larger compressor and turbine wheels. Built with new bearing housings and all new rotating parts. We have also employed a 360-degree thrust bearing assembly to further improve the longevity of these turbochargers. 35lb/min compressor. Turbine sections use a 4-bolt downpipe configuration and are direct bolt-on turbos. With the addition of camshafts, intercoolers, tubular manifolds and our tuning experience, 550RWHP is an achievable benchmark.
Z1 offers your choice of .54 or .63 A/R turbine housings. This choice allows you to decide which characteristics in a turbo you prefer, Faster Spool (.54 A/R) or Peak Power (.63 A/R). If you only daily drive your car and rarely or never plan on using Race Fuel then the .54 housing is for you. If you plan on going to the drag strip and running race fuel consistently then the .63 housing is the way to go.

Although not required, for optimal performance we recommend a set of 2.5" Stainless Steel Z1 divorced downpipes which have been designed with a larger turbine discharge pipe to correlate with the larger sized turbine wheels fit into stock 4 bolt turbine housings. Also consider larger outlet AMS 3.0" Expansion Downpipes.
$200 core charge per turbo applies.
$50 each for missing or damaged wastegate actuator.
$25 removal fee for each broken off bolt or stud in the turbine housings of returned cores
