Z1 Upgraded Twin Turbo Automatic Transmissions are rebuilt stock units with modifications for durability and higher output engines. Higher quality friction material, additional clutches, and modifications for additional cooling mean crisper shifting and longer life. Our Upgraded Automatic Transmissions hold more power, last longer, and cost less than a new stock unit, or a conventional rebuild and are considered by us to be the best choice for you street driven Z32. All of our Upgraded Automatic Transmission include rebuilt stock torque converters and are kept in stock for quick delivery.
These Upgraded Twin Turbo Automatic Transmissions are expeced to hold up to 550ft/lbs of torque at the flexplate without premature failure. Unfortunately inside automatic transmissions are parts that wear and will eventually need to be replaced. The higher the power levels pushed through these transmissions the faster the internal parts will wear out.
Transmissions are shipped without fluid. Approximately 11 qts of Dexron III Automatic Transmission Fluid is required for installation.
Note: The Rear Main Seal Kit no longer includes the rear main seal retainer gasket due to it being discontinued by Nissan. It is highly recommended to use Fluid Gasket (RTV) as a replacement.
The core being returned must have a complete wiring harness and be in rebuildable condition in order to receive full core credit. You will not receive full core credit for damaged wiring harnesses or internal hardparts such as planetary gears, shafts, etc.
An external ATF cooler (available as an option below) is required bypassing / eliminating the existing stock cooler in the radiator. If you do not purchase an external cooler from us or cannot provide proof that you purchased one elsewhere then the warranty on our transmission is void.
