Z1 engine tunes do not disable emissions control systems or the onboard diagnostic (OBD) system. The customer is responsible for ensuring the hardware they are using on their vehicle does not cause a failure to meet emissions standards.
The Z1 Performance Tuning Package - Upgrade Only option provides tuning support for customers who have already purchased an EcuTek Performance Tune for their Nissan 350Z or Infiniti G35, and need to update their car's tune to match newly installed performance upgrades. When purchasing the Level 2 Upgrade, you'll receive a tune that has been custom-calibrated to extract the most performance from your car's modifications, including 3'' cold air intakes, oversized injectors with Ethanol (E85) fuels (Level 2+ only), and more. The Level 2 Upgrade is available for customers who already have an EcuTek Dongle and wish to use the Phone Flash method to install their tune.
*Please make sure your phone is compatible with the EcuTek connect app before ordering. If you need to flash your car using the older laptop method, please select the corresponding option. When setting up your account through EcuTek Connect, please be sure to use the SAME EMAIL that you use for your Z1 account. Failure to do this may result in extended processing time.

Z1 Level 2 tuning starts with the Level 1 tune and adds custom changes to suit your level of hardware modifications. To ensure these changes are best suited to your car, an iterative process is used. Z1 will upload your first Level 2 tune based on the modification list you’ve disclosed. You will load that tune and then perform a data log on the vehicle per the instructions given to you by the Z1 tuner. Based on that data log, the tuner will adjust the tune to optimize your vehicle’s performance. If necessary, this process will be repeated one additional time for a maximum of 3 total tunes. Level 2 tuning does not support nitrous, ethanol fuels, aftermarket camshafts, etc. If you're not sure whether or not a modification you have applies to Level 2 Tuning, please contact our team prior to ordering
Level 2+ covers all of the same modifications as Level 2, but adds custom tuning support for larger fuel injectors and ethanol blend fuels. Purchase of the Level 2+ also includes tuning support for modifications covered by the standard Level 2 tune.
