Located just behind the rear bumper cover on your 2003-2008 Nissan 350Z (Z33), this Aluminum Crash Bar helps absorb the energy as a result of a rear collision and spreads the impact load across both frame rails.  This bar should be replaced in the event of a rear collision as the Crash Bar will loose its structural rigidity and cannot be repaired.
