OEM Purge Valve Assembly for Nissan 350Z and Infiniti G35 models.

The EVAP solenoid is found on the back of the upper intake plenum on VQ35DE equipped Nissan and Infiniti models. This valve vents fumes from the fuel tank to the intake under certain conditions. When they fail this often results in poor running conditions, inconsistent idle, CEL illumination, and a variety of other symptoms. Replacement is simple and can be done with basic tools within a few short minutes.

NOTE: There are two different types of EVAP Purge Solenoids used on the VQ35DE between 10/03-08/04 production dates and they are not easily interchangable. If your car falls between this production date it is important to first look at the part on your car prior to ordering. The simplest way to differentiate between the two solenoids is color; the earlier production component (2003-08/04) is generally found to be blue in color, where the later production part (10/03-2007) is found to be grey/black in color. Selecting the '2003-2004' option below will opt for an early style part, blue in color. 2005-2007 will be the newer production part, grey in color.
