The OEM high pressure fuel pump on your Q50 / Q60 3.0t is responsible for compressing the fuel supplied by the in-tank electric fuel pump to the pressure required for the high-pressure direct injection. This pump is located on the left (driver side) valve cover and is mechanically driven by the camshaft. Failure of the HPP will result in loss of power, Check Engine Light illumination, and poor drivability.

Note: The 2017 HPFP has been discontinued and Infiniti recommends using the 2018+ HPFP with new bolts to mount it. 2017 option includes 2 new bolts.
