Product Description
This kit includes all of the basic components needed to service the rear timing cover oil gallery gaskets on your VQ35HR equipped 350Z or G35.
The oil galley gasket is mounted beneath the timing cover, when this gasket fails and begins to seep oil pressure will drop resulting in potential catastrophic engine failure. If you're seeing low oil pressure symptoms, such as low readings on the gauge, P0011 or P0021 codes, or excessive VTC rattle Z1 does not recommend running the engine until you have this checked, to minimize the risk of engine damage.
In this kit we've opted to include allen head hardware to help ensure torque across the oil gallery cover plates is even.
The gaskets included in this kit are NOT the same flimsy cheap gaskets Nissan originally used on your timing cover. These gaskets are an updated composite steel gasket, far better than any other gasket on the market and the only gaskets we trust on our cars.

If your are facing low oil pressure issues, 8 out of 10 times it is because of a blown out gasket of such sort. Highly recommend this product and now my oil pressure is back to OEM spec and i am back to using 5W30 oil without any problems.

Great product I found it easy installation and I’m missing my left arm above elbo.
I am a certified Nissan tech r was now I don’t work being on disability. Long story short if I can do it you can use YouTube fsm even forums for us older guys use all your resource n Organization is key when disassembly and reassembly

Shipped fast. These are OEM Nissan gaskets and aftermarket Allen screws. Not sure if the material of the gasket is different than original from 08, but they are reinforced with metal. Worked perfectly and with new melling m501 oil pump, hopefully the low pressure is fixed for good.

Much better gaskets and the hardware allows you to torque the plates very accurately unlike the philippe head screws. As with all allen bolt hardware it is designed for low torque applications and when using the correct socket they hold up great
