Z1's Oil Filter Sandwich Plate is used to plumb oil cooler feed and return lines on Z1's oil cooler kits, but is also a great option for applications that require a custom oil cooler. Two M22x1.5 ports feed oil to and from the engine. A 1/8npt sensor port is installed on the side of the body, giving you access to oil for the purposes of monitoring oil pressure. Z1's sandwich plate can be ordered for VG engines with a 3/4"-16" oil filter stud and 8AN fittings or M20x1.5 with -10AN fittings. The standard plate is non-thermostatic while an optional thermostatic version with a 92°c / 197.6°F thermostat is available, helping keep oil near ideal temperatures for street cars.
