In addition to the latest technologies such as dual PVS and bump rubber applied to HIPERMAX S, the HIPERMAX R features the following:
- “SRF” (Super Response Fluid) Exclusive newly developed Oil
- Higher VI (Viscosity Index)
- High-quality Damper Oil
- “LVS” (Low Vibration Spring) Exclusive high-strength Spring
- High-spec springs made of high-strength wire
- Improved Upper Spring Retainer
Super Response Fluid has improved damper oil quality and viscosity. Characteristics of damping force transition improved by the this new damper oil and achieved great handling performance and driving stability. By applying higher viscosity index synthetic oil. it suppresses temperature changes caused by heat.
Low Vibration / High-Strength Spring is much more responsive compared to the MAX IV SP coilovers. 210k grade high-strength wire rods are adopted to shorten wire length and reduce weight. Improved steering response as well as a lumpy feeling. The driving feel and maximum stroke length have also been improved.
Upper Spring Retainer will allow the spring to compress linearly with the damper while reducing friction and allowing more smoother damping.
