Z1's Nissan Z Blow-Off Valve Kit includes everything needed to install pneumatic HKS blow-off valves on your 2023+ Nissan Z.
A Blow Off Valve's sole purpose is to protect your turbo. The valve is actuated by manifold vacuum and vents excess boost pressure to atmosphere on forced induction cars when the throttle is closed. When this happens, an audible sound is heard as air is released from the valve. From the factory, rather than using blow off valves your Nissan Z has two electronically actuated diverter valves. These work similarly to a BOV with one major difference: they recirculate the air released from the valve and cannot be heard. If the sound of a blow off valve is a characteristic of forced induction that you enjoy, this can be a disappointment and a real "blow" to your driving experience.
To remedy this, Z1's Blow-Off Valve Kit deletes the stock diverter valve in favor of a pair of pneumatic blow-off valves. To achieve this, a pair of billet block-off plates are included to replace the diverter valves in the compressor housing. HKS SSQV4 valves and necessary silicone couplers and adapters are included to take over the responsibility of boost relief. To prevent error codes from the removal of the diverter valve, a pair of plug-and-play diverter valve simulators are included.
** Installer Note: Requires removal of the passenger side engine slinger attachment bracket. **
USE WITH AFTERMARKET TURBOS
When installing Z1's VRX70 upgraded turbochargers, the factory diverter valves cannot be used. The increase in compressor housing size eliminated the available space where the factory diverter valves existed previously. As a result, a blow-off valve kit is required to run our VRX70 turbochargers. CLICK HERE to see all of our blow-off valve options.

Aftermarket blow-off valves like the HKS SSQV4 included in this kit have the ability to flow a high volume of air, ideal for higher boost applications where the boost pressure has been increased. The HKS Sequential Blow-Off Valve features a unique pull-type sequential valve structure and a differential pressure control system. This advanced pull-type relief system allows for stable operating ranges from low to high boost pressures. HKS' Super SSQV4 features a nickel-plated, die-cast metal secondary valve, which is swaged to the primary valve. A stainless steel C-Clip and spring are used to increase sealing and durability.
