Z1's Street Big Brake Kit is a complete brake upgrade package for the 2023+ Nissan Z, available with Z1's Forged Street Brake Calipers. This fully customizable kit is an economical performance upgrade that provides all of the benefits of the 14'' Performance brake kit at a competitive price.

Z1 Forged Street Brake Calipers - Similar to the factory Performance model brake calipers, these are an easy bolt-on solution that provide a substantial increase in braking potential over factory Sport/base model brakes. These calipers feature fully forged aluminum bodies, making them more durable and rigid than their cast aluminum counterparts. Each caliper is anodized prior to powdercoat, increasing finish durability and providing enhanced protection against surface oxidation. Calipers are available in your choice of Black, Yellow, or Red and feature an engraved Z1 logo painted in a high-contrast color.
Z1 Performance Brake Rotors - Choose between standard single-piece Z1 Performance Brake Rotors or Z1 2-Piece Brake Rotors. 2-Piece brake rotors reduce the overall weight of the braking system 30lbs over standard single-piece rotors. This translates to better acceleration, a lighter steering feel, and quicker turn-in! Z1 2-Piece rotors also feature larger directional cooling vanes, dramatically increasing cooling performance.
Brake Pads - Select the brake pad that best suits your driving style. Z1 Ceramic Street brake pads are the recommended choice for most vehicles due to their low dust and good street performance. These pads are used for street cars, daily drivers, and show cars. Hawk HPS 5.0 brake pads offer more stopping power and higher resistance to brake fade, elevating your street car’s performance. Hawk HP Plus brake pads are ideal for entry-level track events. On the street, the dust and noise output may not be desirable. If you would like a different type of brake pads not listed in the options for this kit, please call in and speak to our sales department who can custom build the kit the way you want it!
Brake Lines or Banjo Bolts - Choose to add stainless steel brake lines or banjo bolts to your order. Short banjo bolts are used when converting your braking system from stock non-Sport brake calipers to larger Z1 Street Brake Calipers. The banjo bolt originally used on your car is too long and will not seal properly making this bolt the missing link between your Non-Sport Brake Lines and the Street Caliper Upgrade. Included with this selection is a complete set with crush washers. *One of these two options is mandatory for installation. If you do not already have stainless steel brake lines on your car, you will need to purchase one of these options to complete your brake kit.
Brake Fluid - In the product options, you can choose to add two bottles of Motul 5.1 or Motul RBF 600 brake fluid. High-temperature brake fluid is recommended for any cars that are driven in an aggressive manner, from high-speed pulls to mountain runs or track days.
Installation note: You must either, trim, remove, or replace the dust shields behind the brake rotor in order to get the proper clearance of the larger 14" brake rotors and calipers. OEM Dust Shields designed for factory sport brakes are also available in the product options and negate the need for any modifications to the OEM dust shields.
This Big Brake Kit requires 18" or larger wheels for correct fitment, and has the same limitations as factory Sport brake calipers. Z1 CANNOT guarantee fitment on all 18'' wheels, please be mindful that inner barrel clearances vary between different types of wheels. We recommend checking your wheels against our caliper template prior to ordering. A 5mm wheel spacer must be used to clear the front brakes if using with factory Sport wheels.
