Z1's Complete G37 Supercharger Kit is a bolt-on kit configured to provide you with everything needed to make 450-600+hp in your Infiniti. This includes the supercharger unit, intercooler, fuel system, and an optional tune to optimize your engine's performance.
THE DESIGN
Since inception, our goal was to build a kit that could be installed by entry-level enthusiasts and had the fit and finish you would expect from a premium supercharger. This was accomplished by maintaining high standards throughout the design and production process. The brackets are precision machined from 6061 billet aluminum, finished with a black anodize. All pulleys are machined from 304 stainless steel while idler and tensioner pulleys ride on dual sealed bearings. These premium materials ensure that the kit will hold up to heat, corrosion, and engine-bay grime for years to come.
Charge piping is made from mandrel-bent aluminum pipe and finished with a low-gloss black anodize. Multi-ply reinforced silicone couplers attach charge piping and ensure long service life. For the most direct fit, we designed a high-flowing vehicle-specific intercooler with mounting brackets. The 3.5'' filtered intake provides excellent flow while protecting the supercharger and engine internals from dirt and road debris. Use of the filtered intake is required to maintain the Rotrex warranty.
THE INSTALLATION
The blower arrives to you assembled to the bracket, clocked in the correct orientation, and with the drive belt pre-tensioned. The installation process requires the removal of only the front bumper and front fender liners. It is jack-stand friendly using standard hand tools and a lift is not required or even necessary. Modification to the car is minimal and OEM items such as windshield washer reservoir and horns are unaffected by the install. A complete installation guide is included and can be previewed before purchase HERE. Custom fluid reservoirs are included as well as vehicle-specific brackets, all necessary hardware, and hoses.
THE LEVELS
This kit is available in four configurations, supporting power levels from 450hp to over 600hp. Each kit is complete with the fuel system configured to support the advertised horsepower. All power levels can be purchased with full Z1 Level 3 Supercharger Tune support, providing expert calibration based on tunes developed for Z1's own cars. Please be aware that if purchasing for an '08 Coupe, EcuTek tunes are not compatible and an UpRev must be used. Please call us prior to ordering if your vehicle is an '08 and a tune is desired.
Z1 engine tunes do not disable emissions control systems or the onboard diagnostic (OBD) system. The customer is responsible for ensuring the hardware they are using on their vehicle does not cause a failure to meet emissions standards.
450HP Kit Includes:
This configuration supports up to 450hp on 93-octane fuel. E85 is not supported on this kit.
500hp Kit Includes:
This configuration supports up to 500hp on 93-octane fuel. E85 is not supported on this kit.
550hp Kit Includes:
This configuration supports up to 520hp on 93 octane fuel and supports E85 up to 550hp.
600hp+ Kit Includes:
This configuration supports over 600hp on E85 fuel.
THE FUELING
Each power level includes the fueling components needed to support the advertised power.
450hp and 500hp kits utilize the factory returnless fuel system and include a drop-in Aeromotive 340 pump and Z1 1000cc Fuel Injectors, making these two kits the quickest and easiest to install. 550hp+ and 600hp+ kits include Z1's Complete Fuel Return System, along with our Billet Fuel Pump Hat and a Walbro 525 Fuel Pump. The inclusion of a return fuel system supports higher levels of power by improving the fuel supply to the engine. This fuel system also supports Ethanol (E85) fuels, giving you the opportunity to make even more power. Because the complete fuel system is upgraded on these power levels, making more power in the future can be as simple as just changing a pulley, injectors and tune!
All fueling components are vehicle-specific and have been designed to offer the best fitment and the easiest installation possible. However, due to the extra components needed with the 550hp+ and 600hp+ kits, the installation is more labor-intensive.
THE BLOWER
Rotrex superchargers were chosen due to their exceptional reputation, quiet operation, and proven reliability. Z1's engineering team worked diligently with the professionals at Rotrex to produce a kit that made best use of their supercharger and ensured that it kit complied with their strict standards. Consistent communication and feedback from their engineering team produced a complete kit that retains Rotrex's 1-year warranty. The C38R, the biggest baddest blower in their lineup, is used in all level of our Z1 VHR Supercharger setups. Whether you're looking for 450 or over 600hp, the C38R provides. All kits that use this supercharger can be configured for different power levels by simply changing the pulley.
The supercharger features an integrated oil pump that works as a dry sump scavenging pump in addition to being the oil supply pump. A 13-row Z1 Oil Cooler Core and associated oil lines are provided to maintain stable temperatures in the superchargers oiling system. A custom billet oil reservoir and 1L of Rotrex traction fluid are also supplied.

Spark plugs wear at a high rate when used with forced induction, so it is important to ensure they are in good working order. When installing your supercharger, Z1 recommends inspecting spark plugs for wear and replacing them if necessary. It is also recommended to reduce spark plug gap to 0.032" during installation. OEM VR38 Spark Plugs may be used and will already have an appropriate spark plug gap.

It is highly recommended that a performance oil cooler kit be installed to maintain stable oil temperatures. Even naturally aspirated VQ37's suffer from unusually high oil temperatures, and this problem is only exacerbated with forced induction.
